Comments by Joe Cornwall: The Royal Brim Killer is my favorite. It Flies very shallow, just underneath the surface, maybe 3ft down. A very slow sinker, this fly should be fished with almost no retrieve. A slight twitch will bring it up in the water column where it will very slowly sink again. The white legs are the key to this fly.
