Hook: TMC 100 size 12
Thread: 6/0 Chartreuse
Body: Chartreuse Single Cell Foam
Legs: Chartreuse/Silver Flake SILI Legs
Wing: Deer Hair

Tying Instructions

1 . Tie in thread and cover hook from just under eye to hook bend.
2. Then cut 2" long piece of foam about I/ 1 6" thick
3. Bend foam in half and tie on the ends just below the eye of hook.
4. Wrap thread around foam down to hook bend, leaving about a 1/2" off the back of the hook.
5. Cut deer hair, stack and place with tips of the hair facing toward the eye of the hook.
6. Move the hair up the shank till the tips of the hair is hanging off around 1 1/2"
7. Tie down the hair with the tips hanging off
8. Fold back deer hair and tie off at center of hook shank
9. Tie in one set of SILI legs on each side of the hook, Madame X style, then tie in one set across the top of the hook, perpendicular to the shank.
10. Whip finish and cement
